He, Atty. Gilbert M. Dela Cerna, has thoughts to share the facts and in his informative to us students, especially his experience in cybercrime.
He experienced some issues that have made his life curious because although he was the Attorney, he still experienced some because of online social media especially facebook.
Based on what he said, he experienced that his facebook account has been copied by others like it is “Identity theft” that makes himself but it is now him.
Although he reported it but still nothing changes but what could be the possible thing to do this? It can’t be fixed by reporting but still has a proper solution.
The solution he did is that he didn’t add or put his real name on this application, the facebook, he changed it to something else that does not make him recognized
That’s why posting everything online can give negative results, results that things about yourself will spread by everyone.
This time, this generation and Atty, Gilbert M. Dela Cerna’s generation is nothing difficult as you post about yourself, old people and young people still can get affected by this cybercrime.
Because technology is really powerful in such aspects because this leads to something.
“We have to be careful,” he stated. Careful in sharing facts and information about yourself.
